Visits and scheduling
How do I request a home visit?
Use the private home-visit request form, or call or text (310) 569-8058. Tell us your name, how to reach you, and your city or ZIP code, and our team will confirm the service, location, and appointment availability.
How does a mobile audiology visit work?
Tell us where you are and what service you need. We arrange an appointment, then your audiologist brings the appropriate professional equipment to your home or care community.
Do you visit senior living communities?
Yes. HearQuest provides on-site audiology for senior living residents, care teams, and communities, helping reduce transportation barriers and allowing family or caregivers to be present.
Can someone else schedule the visit for me?
Yes. A family member or caregiver can arrange the visit and be present for it, which is common when scheduling for a parent or older relative.
Service area
What areas does HearQuest serve?
HearQuest provides mobile audiology throughout Los Angeles County, including the San Gabriel Valley, Westside, South Bay, San Fernando Valley, and East Los Angeles. Call or text us to confirm availability in your neighborhood.
Can I walk into the Pico Rivera office?
The Pico Rivera address is HearQuest’s headquarters. Patient care is primarily mobile and arranged by appointment, so please call or text before visiting.
What if I don't see my neighborhood listed?
Call or text us to confirm availability. Mobile coverage across Los Angeles County is arranged around patient needs and clinician availability, so it's worth asking even if your immediate area isn't listed by name.
What to expect
What happens during a hearing evaluation?
Your audiologist reviews your history, examines your ears, measures the room's ambient noise, and completes the hearing evaluation itself, then explains the results before leaving. See the in-home hearing tests page for a full walkthrough.
How long does an appointment take?
A full hearing evaluation typically takes about 90 minutes. Other services vary; ask when you schedule.
How should I prepare for a visit?
Choose the quietest available room, turn off nearby televisions or appliances, and have hearing aids, a medication list, and prior hearing history on hand if you have them.
Can family be present during the appointment?
Yes. Family may be present throughout the visit, which is often helpful when a patient is arranging care with an adult child or other family member.
Costs and coverage
Where can I ask about pricing or insurance?
HearQuest publishes starting cash-pay prices for selected Starkey and Signia hearing-aid models on the hearing-aid care page. Insurance benefits, product availability, candidacy, and final cost vary, so call or text (310) 569-8058 for a personalized confirmation.
Do you accept insurance?
Benefits vary by plan. HearQuest can verify available benefits before scheduling, so call or text (310) 569-8058 to ask about your specific coverage.
Is there a charge just for the visit itself?
Cost is confirmed with you before scheduling, since it depends on the requested service. Call or text (310) 569-8058 to ask about your specific situation.
