Who to refer

A practical option for patients facing an access barrier.

The strongest fit is a patient who needs audiology care but cannot readily reach a traditional clinic because of travel, mobility, caregiving, or facility-related constraints.

01

Travel is a barrier

Mobility, transportation, caregiver, or scheduling needs make a traditional clinic visit difficult.

02

Care is needed on site

The patient lives at home, in assisted living, memory care, or another senior community.

03

Follow-up cannot wait

The patient needs a hearing evaluation, hearing-aid support, or selected specialty services without another trip across Los Angeles.

A mobile extension of care

Clinical services, delivered where the patient is.

HearQuest supports patients who specifically need mobile access and coordinates relevant findings with the referring team. When medical or otologic follow-up is indicated, the patient is directed back to the appropriate physician or ENT.

  • Comprehensive hearing evaluations
  • Hearing-aid consultation and fitting
  • Programming and follow-up care
  • Device cleaning, maintenance, and repair support
  • Tinnitus and balance evaluations, when appropriate
  • Cerumen management and custom products, when clinically appropriate

Clinical safeguards

Mobile access does not delay medical care.

Sudden hearing changes, active ear symptoms, significant asymmetry, persistent vertigo, neurologic signs, or other urgent or medically concerning findings require appropriate physician, ENT, or emergency evaluation. HearQuest coordinates with the referring team and returns patients for medical clearance or follow-up when indicated.
